Perhaps you have been feeling it
Before your feet touch the floor, you are already thinking about everything that needs you. You know how to show up for your work, your family, and the people you love. Yet your own needs keep waiting for space.
You may be trying to eat well, stay active, and keep everything moving. Still, something feels off. You miss feeling at ease in your body. When you rest, your mind may continue to race. Perhaps you simply miss enjoying your days instead of getting through them.
You may be wondering:
- What do I need now, and where do I begin?
- How can I care for myself without feeling guilty?
- What would help me feel more nourished, at ease, and happily connected to my life?
These two days offer space to explore those questions with compassion, practical guidance, and presence. You are welcome exactly as you are.
Four Gates to explore what you need now
The Four Gates are Presence, Intuition, Trust, and Letting Go. Together, they offer a way to connect practical well-being knowledge with your own experience, so you can understand what needs attention and choose where to begin.
You will bring one concern through the Four Gates. It might be stopping sabotaging your diet, avoiding skipping meals, difficulty resting, stress around work, or the feeling that joy has slipped out of your days. You do not need to change everything at once.
Presence
Notice what is happening without rushing to change it. Through guided awareness and reflection, you will explore your habits, feelings, and circumstances. Perhaps you regularly miss lunch when work gets busy or agree to commitments before checking your energy.
What is happening, and how is it affecting me?
Intuition
Listen more closely to what needs your attention. Reflection and journaling will help you hear yourself beneath familiar expectations and outside noise. You will consider what you notice alongside practical information and any professional guidance you need to make more informed choices and be more aligned.
What needs my attention, and what matters to me?
Trust
Choose a caring action you feel ready to take. You will reflect on what you know to be true now, what remains uncertain, and what support could help. Your next step might be protecting time for a meal, asking for help, or making room for something you love.
What do I know to be true, and what step am I ready to take?
Letting Go
Explore what makes caring for yourself harder. You may be ready to loosen guilt about resting, pressure to do everything perfectly, or the belief that your needs must always come last. You may want to stop holding tightly to a situation of the past, but don’t know how. You will explore what releasing some of that weight could look like in an ordinary day.
What am I ready to stop carrying?
Why I created this experience
As a former French and European table tennis champion, chef, author, and entrepreneur, I know dedication and the habit of pushing forward. For more than 27 years, I have coached and mentored thousands. I bring together practical knowledge of nourishment, an understanding of the demands we place on ourselves, and decades of Buddhist practice.
Illness, injuries, and major transitions have asked me to live what I teach: to listen, adapt, receive support, and reconsider what matters. The Four Gates have helped me find clarity and steadiness through those moments, and meet my life with greater ease.
Those experiences have also reminded me that the signals asking for our attention are not always dramatic. They may appear quietly as fatigue, stress, a habit that no longer serves us, or a sense that something meaningful is missing.
I created this experience to bring practical well-being knowledge and inner practices together. My intention is to offer you a place to explore what caring for yourself means in this season of your life, and how to bring that care into the way you live.
Practical learning for your everyday life
Â
Nourishing your body and mind
Explore nutritional needs, balanced meals, hydration, and everyday eating habits, including how needs may change with age and health. My background as a healthy chef and wellness coach brings practical ideas and the pleasure of the table into our conversation.
Rest and movement
Consider exercise, sleep, fatigue, and your daily rhythm. Explore what gets in the way of rest and how to make movement part of your life with respect for your energy, abilities, and enjoyment.
Stress and emotional well-being
Recognize your stress patterns and practice a more conscious response. Explore how connection, playfulness, appreciation, and simple pleasures can make room for joy while life is still imperfect.
Meaningful work and a balanced life
Reflect on the relationship between earning a living, work you care about, responsibilities, relationships, and time for yourself. We will explore what feels nourishing and meaningful within the realities of your life.
Your two days together
Day One
We begin with the foundations of well-being and the concern you would personally like to explore. Through Presence, Intuition, and Trust, you will connect practical learning with your habits, needs, and choices. There will be guided practices, meditation, personal reflection, conversations, and time to pause.
Day Two
We continue exploring what supports your well-being, with particular attention to Letting Go and integration. You will consider what you want to make room for and develop a personal starting plan you can bring into daily life.
Throughout both days, you may participate at your own pace. Sharing is optional, and no previous experience with meditation or the Four Gates is needed.
What you can take home
- Practical ideas for nourishment, rest, movement, and responding to stress.
- A clearer understanding of the concern you have chosen to explore.
- A personal starting plan with realistic next steps and the support you may need.
- A way to return to yourself through the Four Gates as circumstances change.
- Greater awareness of what brings meaning, balance, alignment, and joy into your days.
Imagine an ordinary Monday after the workshop. Your responsibilities are still there, but you notice your needs sooner. Perhaps you take a proper lunch break, choose manageable movement, or protect time for something you enjoy. You have practical ideas to draw on and a way to reflect when things feel difficult.
These two days give you a foundation to build on. Some insights arrive quickly; changing familiar patterns may take months of practice and adjustment. You can begin with one caring choice.
Is this experience for you

- Your health, energy, or needs are changing, and you want to understand what supports you now.

- You know some of what would help but find it difficult to put into practice.
- You want practical guidance alongside time to listen to yourself.
- You are longing for a more nourishing and joyful way to live.
You are welcome to begin where you are.

Register NowA few questions you may have
Â
Do I need to know how to meditate
No. I will guide you through the practices, and you are welcome to begin wherever you are.
Will I have to share my personal experience
Sharing is always optional. You may listen quietly or share only what feels comfortable.
Will I receive an individual diet or treatment plan
The workshop offers general well-being education and personal reflection. It does not provide a prescribed individual diet or medical treatment plan. You can use what you learn to identify questions to discuss with your healthcare professional or a registered dietitian.
Is this a medical or therapeutic program
This is an educational well-being experience. It does not replace medical diagnosis, treatment, mental health therapy, or professional healthcare.
Will I need to sit or lie on the floor
Most of our time will be spent sitting. Some meditation includes the option of lying down on a mat, for a body scan. But you may remain seated. Your comfort is always the priority.
What should I wear and bring
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Bring a journal, pen, personal snacks if needed, and anything you need for your comfort. Please bring a yoga mat if you would like to lie down during some meditations. Bottled water will be provided.
Can you accommodate dietary needs
Meal choices will be shared before the workshop. Please tell me about allergies or dietary requirements when ordering so we can confirm what can be accommodated. Once your meal order is confirmed, changes cannot be made.
What if I need to cancel
Registrations are non-refundable. You may transfer your registration to another participant or to another available workshop date up to 72 hours before the workshop begins. No refunds or transfers will be granted within 72 hours of the workshop start time.
What if the workshop is canceled or rescheduled
If I cancel the workshop, you may choose a full refund or transfer to the next available workshop. If I reschedule and you cannot attend the new dates, you may choose a full refund or transfer to another available workshop date.
Your well-being deserves your attention now
There may always be another challenge, another responsibility, or another deadline asking for your attention.
Your health and well-being deserve that same care.
You do not need to change everything at once. Begin with what needs your attention now. Give yourself space to listen, learn, and discover what will help you feel more nourished, balanced, and connected to the life you want to live.
If these words speak to something you have been feeling, I invite you to make these two days a beginning. I would be honored to welcome you.
With warmth,
Marie-Annick
